First, more fallout from the Tua injury:
- The neurological expert who cleared Tua for Thursday's game has been fired by the NFLPA. Lawsuit forthcoming...
And here's the NFL's fine blotter, most if not all from NFL.com and Tom Pelissero (could be more later):
- Cleveland Browns: Myles Garrett did it again to the Steelers: $15,914 for an uncalled roughing the passer foul on Mitch Trubisky.
- Parenthetically, the injuries from his accident have ruled him out for Week 4.
- Kansas City Chiefs: Chris Jones was fined $10,609 for the taunting foul that cost the Chiefs dearly on Sunday. And if there was an ounce of leadership in the coaching, he'd be suspended at least the next game by the team for Conduct Detrimental.
- Miami Dolphins: Christian Wilkins, $13,261 for a fracas involving Josh Allen.
- New York Giants: Sterling Shepherd: $10,609 for coming off the bench to join a fracas. He was penalized and should be suspended at least one game.
- New York Jets: Lamarcus Joyner, $14,608 for a headshot.
- Adding through later research: Carolina Panthers: Yetur Gross-Matos (Name Hall of Fame candidate!), $10,609 for unnecessary roughness.
- And Tennessee Titans: Amani Hooker, $15,914 for a defenseless player foul.
- And Detroit Lions: Jamaal Williams: $13,261 for an illegal touchdown celebration.
- And Los Angeles Rams: Jalen Ramsey: $10,609 for unsportsmanlike conduct.
