- The appeal of Britney Griner's nine-year
deathprison sentence in Russia has been denied. - Three true freshmen on the Texas A&M team, two for the second time this season, have been suspended indefinitely from the team for a locker room incident. Ranked #6 in the preseason and declared the #1 recruiting class of the 2022 season, five players (and two of them twice) from the freshman class have been suspended this season for breaking team rules. I sense at least two scholarships are about to be vacated.
- It appears, from at least Twitter, that the incident is that the three players smoked marijuana post-game in the locker room. If this is true -- CUT... THEM... ALL!!! And fire the head of scouting.
- To little surprise, Jumbo Fisher is having serious problems this year: The team is 3-4 and the offense is sputtering.
- The NFL has concluded it's investigation of Sunday's Bucs game officiating crew and determined they had not sought Mike Evans' autograph. Given the circumstances, they had to check, but there didn't seem to be anything to it. I mean, to have that bias, you'd have to do better than 21-3 losing to Carolina!
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
