- Josh Gordon has been cut from his second practice squad of the year. Tennessee has cut him after Kansas City did so earlier in the season.
- The Titans also apparently are sourced to have a new domed stadium plan in place.
- Jack Easterby is out in Houston with the Texans -- wonder how much of that is DeRapist Rapist related.
- Todd Bowles, the head coach of the Buccaneers, has officially put the team on blast vis-a-vis their motivation. Which stands to reason, when you think of it... They are figuring they can ride the rigging all the way to the Super Bowl. Given what Tom Brady is putting on the table for this season, it's not surprising, but you DO have to make it "look good"!
- For the first time in eight months, the classic The Price is Right: The Barker Era channel on at least Pluto and XUMO is going to air new episodes from Season 13. Unlike previous drops, however, the Pluto/XUMO channel will air new episodes two at a time instead of in a block over five weeks. There is a possibility that IMdB/Freevee/Roku might air the new episodes in a block on November 1 or so.
- K-pop group BTS has disbanded, much to the dismay of millions of fans around the world.
- Well, kinda and temporarily: There is a two-year period of mandatory military service in South Korea, and the members of the K-pop supergroup are not exempted. You'd NEVER see that in the United States, even under a military conscription draft!
- The first member will begin the process at the end of the month, after a solo release. The others will do so on their individual schedules.
- One of the booth coaches at Fresno State University may be looking for a job -- he injured several fans at Saturday's game by punching the window of the press box he was in completely out! Makes throwing the visual tablet far more tame in comparison!
- He has now officially been placed on leave.
- Bubba Wallace is probably in some trouble with NASCAR for intentionally crashing out Kyle Larson, fighting him afterward, and taking out one of the eight playoff contenders in the crossfire.
- Robbie Anderson and the Carolina Panthers have parted ways. About 1 PM Eastern, he was traded to Arizona. The trade is for a draft pick or picks, but no one is saying what.
- Today was the 15th anniversary show for Drew Carey hosting "The Price Is Right". Good God, I feel ancient... One of the bonuses they gave for the event is that anyone spinning 15 cents on the wheel, in any legal-spin iteration, won $15,000, regardless of any other situation they ran into on the showdown. One older lady did in the first half, and the wheel was set so tightly, she almost did it twice!
- One of the pricing games was for a trip to Seattle -- and anyone who knows of Drew knows he is a part-owner of the Sounders, so a Sounders package was thrown in!
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
