- It appears that there will be one constant going forward with the Dodgers my anonymous Dodger-fan friend will approve: It appears, from reports, that all demands Dave Roberts be fired will go on deaf ears, and he will return next year.
- They'll try Game 5 of the ALDS with the Yankees and Guardians again today in New York. Winner goes to Houston tomorrow to start the ALCS. Tonight, Game 1 of the NLCS in San Diego with the Phillies.
- It appears as if District of Columbia officials are going to further sanction Dan Snyder, the Washington Commanders organization, and maybe even the NFL for continuing misdeeds by Snyder.
- Mitch Trubisky may be on his way out of Pittsburgh -- he also has had a confrontation which has led to a benching suspension of almost 2 1/2 games, now, as the starting quarterback. He had a violent confrontation with one of his wide receivers at halftime against the Jets, and only saw the field again when Kenny Pickett, the rookie, got a concussion this week. As a result of the concussion, Trubisky is, apparently, supposed to start the Tua Death Watch game next Sunday night.
- And if you've got a problem with me calling it that under these circumstances, FUCK OFF.
- Cam Akers is done with the Rams.
- Latest reports on the Davante Adams situation make it feasible that Adams may be punished under the Personal Conduct Policy, and only after the assault charge against him for shoving the NFL cameraman is resolved.
- Alabama's #6 ranking snaps 40 consecutive weeks, over three-plus seasons of constant top-five rankings for the Crimson Tide.
- According to Adam Schefter, the Robbie Anderson trade nets the Carolina Panthers a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2025 seventh-round pick. Oof. All that and a $20,000,000 cap hit for that. OY!
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
