- The good news: Four Michigan State Spartans have been suspended for their role in the locker room jumping.
- The bad news: It appears that there is video somewhere that indicates the number of players involved is in the double digits. At least one person is claiming a 10-on-1 at some point.
- Brenton Cox of Florida has been dismissed from the team -- a punch during Saturday's loss to Georgia being the final straw.
- Bryan Harsin has been fired from Auburn -- he lasted less than two seasons. Deion Sanders is on the menu as a replacement.
- In a more humorous stint, the student who has served as the Stanford mascot, The "Stanford Tree", has been suspended from the stint for at least the rest of the football season because of a stunt in which he unfurled a protest sign that "Stanford Hates Fun". If you think that's true NOW, just wait a month or two...
- The Packers are in complete disarray at this point. During the loss last night, one defensive player was benched for disciplinary reasons -- another got tossed for an altercation on the Buffalo sideline.
- It appears Mike McCarthy's days in Las Vegas appear quite numbered with the team at 2-5. The last two losses have spurred lengthy meetings with team ownership.
- Terry McAulay, a 20-year NFL referee who works as the NBC "The NFL is rigged, and here's our head man to tell you how!" shill, says DJ Moore should not have been penalized for the removal of the helmet after his touchdown. See special "After Further Review" post... he's right!
- At least one K-Pop singer, Lee Jihan, has been identified as one of the fatal victims of the Seoul crowd crush. Korea is in five days of official mourning over the event.
- It appears Elon Musk is going to add subscriptions and microtransactions to Twitter. One of the ways that he is going to deal with bots *cough* monetize the purchase unto himself *cough* is that he's given a project seven days to implement a $20/month fee for the verified blue checkmark or be fired. It must be in force by November 7 -- current checkmarks would have 90 days to get ready for the fee. A per-Tweet fee is coming. Mark those words down.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
