2022 NFL Week 12 Score Report -- and a blog update

• 45 points per game this week -- thank the 40-33 job on Sunday night for that total.
• Season average now 43.79 points per game.
• Home teams went 11-5 this week, 95-77-1 for the season.
• Over went 8-8 for the week, 79-99-2 for the season.
• Favorites were 7-7 against the number for Week 12 (there were two games that Caesar's had kick as a pick), 75-94-6 for the season.
• Favorites went 10-4 straight up this week, 109-65-1 for the year.
• Different week than most:  Team with more penalties went 9-5 -- still 68-88-1 for the year.
• Only 149 penalties this week in a full 16-game slate. (9.3 per game).  For the year, 2,098 in 180 games (11.65)
• 5 Cliffhangers for the week, 42 for the year.
• 11 of the 16 games finished within one score, 106 out of 180 for the year, almost 60%!
• 5 non-competitive games this week (no games this week which got within a score in the 4th and then fell out!), 43 for the season.
• And the Monday nighter made seven games with a Last Chance Miss, 69 not-so-nice finishes for teams behind this year.
