Again, from Sports Media Watch...
- Thursday (Amazon, Packers-Titans): The Packers suck, but they're still a ratings draw: 5.1 rating, 10.32 million viewers -- highest since Week 4.
- Sunday Single (FOX): 8.0, 15.56 million viewers, up a third over last year!
- Sunday Regional (CBS, Eagles-Colts): 7.9, 15.26 million viewers, but that was down double-digits, they lost viewers to the FOX games.
- Sunday National (CBS, Cowboys-Vikings): 13.7, 27.55 million viewers, only behind last week's Cowboys-Packers game for the highest rated National window of the season. Was actually down a couple ticks, though, from a Cowboys-Chiefs game last year in the same window.
- CBS is having it's best NFL ratings year since 2015.
- Sunday Night (NBC, Chiefs-Chargers): 9.5, 17.89 million, up about 20%.
- Monday Night (ESPN/Manningcast on 2, 49ers-Cardinals): No bueno in Mexico. 5.9, 11.17 million, worst since 2017 for that week.
But Thanksgiving usually goes HUGE, with football in many family backgrounds for the turkey, the naps, and the inevitable airings of family grievances...
- CBS (Bills-Lions) got 31.63 million viewers, the most on record for the Lions window (going back to at least 1988).
- But that was dwarfed by the Cowboys window on FOX (Cowboys-Giants): FORTY-TWO MILLION -- and that is a record for ALL GAMES OF THE REGULAR SEASON.
- NBC (Patriots-Vikings): Best third window since 2015 with 26 million watching.
