- 41.92 points per game this week.
- Season average for the nine weeks and 136 games: 43.61.
- Home teams went 6-6 this week for 72-59-1.
- Over went 4-9 this week for 56-78-2.
- Great week for Vegas: Favorites went 4-7-2 against the number and 9-4 straight up. When are some people going to learn to drop the Packers. I could've made you beaucoup money on the upsets of both Washington and Detroit in this losing streak -- the first 5 game losing streak for the team since 2018.
- 55-73-5 for ATS for the year (two games below .500 per week when you need 55% to make money).
- 81-51-1 straight up.
- Team with more penalties was 5-5 this week. 51-65-1 for the year.
- Refs kept the week quiet: 135 penalties (10.4 per game) this week. 1,621 for the year (just short of 12 per game).
- Five Cliffhangers for the week. 30 for the year.
- Eight of the 13 games finished within one score. 79 of the 136 games have done so this year.
- 3 non-competitive games for 32 for the season.
- 5 Last Chance Misses for 51 for the year.
- The odd stat: Four of the five Cliffhangers for the week ALL were 17-17 at the two-minute warning. I don't know if that's ever happened, but Kansas City, Minnesota, the Jets and the Chargers all won games 20-17 on field goals in the last two minutes or overtime. All four games were 17-17 at the 2 minute warning.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
