And with that scorefest over in Philly, I can go ahead and do the NFC side of things.
Kayfabe:
NFC East: Philly goes to 10-1 with the win. Dallas is 8-3. The Giants are 7-4. The Commanders are 7-5.
NFC North: Minnesota is 9-2 and five games clear of the division. A win next week over the Jets and a loss by Detroit wins the division -- with five weeks to go in the season!
NFC South: Tampa Bay is 5-6, Atlanta is 5-7, Carolina and New Orleans are both 4-8.
NFC West: San Francisco is 7-4, Seattle has fallen all the way to 6-5.
Meaning ALL FOUR OF THE NFC EAST TEAMS are in the playoffs as of the end of Week 12.
- PHI (10-1, NFC East)
- MIN (9-2, NFC North)
- SF (7-4, NFC West)
- TB (5-6, NFC South)
- DAL (8-3)
- NYG (7-4)
- WAS (7-5)
No tiebreakers needed.
Political:
1) Philadelphia
2) Dallas
3) Minnesota
4) New York Giants
5) Tampa Bay
Not really much to explain, except the only reason Tampa is even on this list is because they're leading the division, regardless of record, and that would get them one playoff game (against Dallas) at home, and then two more wins would get Tom Brady back to the Super Bowl, whether ANYONE likes it or not!
DUD OF THE WEEK:
Nominees:
Aaron Rodgers' oblique: WE FINALLY GET TO SEE JORDAN LOVE!
The Bears: Still Suck.
New Orleans: The fourth shutout victim of the year.
Winner:
THE ENTIRE NFC SOUTH
Again:
Tampa Bay 5-6
Atlanta 5-7
Carolina 4-8
New Orleans 4-8
