When they finally got around to the highlights of the farce in Dallas yesterday, the first thing they showed was three of the officials, and then Olbermann himself, when the play was being shown, actually said it was such a bad call that, though he had (claimed to) never described a game like this before, said it was a fix.
No, that's not why I gave the title what I did.
It was a discussion with my anonymous friend, after said friend found a Deadspin article on something which, at least in dark humor, is being disseminated through the sports media today.
Jerry Jones had a very interesting guest in his box yesterday: Chris Christie, the Republican
As the article notes, this has raised continued ethics questions on
Now how about I raise you the fact that Christie was also in the box with Jerry Jones on December 14 in Philadelphia.
Please note, as my friend immediately told me: Christie is in the home state of the Giants! However, according to at least the Deadspin piece, he's a front-running Cowboys fan from way back.
So him hanging with Jerry Jones is no real surprise.

But, now, what of what happened yesterday?
It is no secret that, if a run is politically palatable, the fat fuck ruining New Jersey wants to be the next Republican President of the United States.
So is this simply Cowboy Fan Chris Christie (which, of course, further alienates him to the state he is supposed to be Governor of), or could Jerry Jones also be prepared to have the NFL anoint Christie as their candidate?
For which Christie would give the NFL anything it wants (including complete immunity for player abuse and silencing his calls for legalized sports gambling???)-- with only one further thing in return...
A Cowboys Super Bowl championship.
We'll see on this one over the upcoming weeks.
