And more stupidity from the TGA...

The Tiger Golf Association (otherwise known as the PGA, but wouldn't have 20% of the viewers it has now, because <20% of the viewers of golf tournaments are golf fans -- the other 80% being Tiger-jockers) has reared it's ugly head again.

There is a great tradition at the low-scoring fest in Scottsdale, AZ...

In the tradition of "stadium golf", the course designers created am amphitheater around the par-3 16th hole's green.

And the fans get rowdy.

And the players seem to encourage it.

They used to have caddies race to the green on that hole.

They used to throw souvenirs into the crowd.

Well, the former was banned last year.

The latter, by PGA edict, was banned this year in this posting on the course, which one (apparently) player had the perfect response to.

So why do this, PGA??

Well, there's a very simple reason:  Tiger Woods is playing in the tournament.

Let's see how this impacts the best-attended tournament of the season, as Tiger needs quiet so he can be such a corporate decaying mope.
