And yet MORE football related lunacy...

  • Pictures from outside Seattle's stadium yesterday, showing the 12th Man abandoning the script, probably after the fourth Seattle interception (which I'll get to in a second), and being locked out of the Goodell-scripted party as a result...

  • A tweet from today, Martin Luther King Day, from your friends and mine, your NFC Champions...
And you wonder why we get so pissed...
  • Another play, courtesy of a GIF posted by Brian Tuohy in the voluminous NFL season page on his website, that shows how bullshit this whole thing was in Seattle:  The fourth interception.

Everyone is screaming for Mike McCarthy's head for conservative coaching.  How does any legitimate football process allow for somebody to communicate to an intercepting player to go down without attempting to advance the ball...  with over FIVE MINUTES to go in the game and only up 19-7?

If you see the way the play develops, that's damn near a PICK-SIX.  All the receivers ran routes away from the far side of the field, and the Packer player could have (and, in almost any other situation, WOULD HAVE) had a real shot at a sealing touchdown...

And anyone claiming otherwise, I say the same thing the Vikings announcers said after Brett Favre bowed to the Bounty-Saints:

"This isn't Detroit!  This is the Super Bowl!!"
I'll let that speak for itself.  No honor among thieves, right, lady?

Have I missed any???
