Buchholz High is playing West Port in a Florida high school football game.
Buchholz scored on three of it's first four offensive plays to go up 21-0 about three minutes into the game.
Then, as they go to kick off for at least the third time in three game minutes, lightning in the area suspends the game and then calls it.
I can attest from my Debbie Gibson MLS trip in 1997 -- severe weather in Florida is NO JOKE this time of year!
The interesting part of it? The game was recorded as a 21-0 victory for Buchholz, even though just three minutes and eight seconds of the game were played.
No chicanery involved. Just file this under "how is that allowed"?
Buchholz is 4-0. West Port has won a game this season.
