Before we get to the Fine Blotter, what the NFL is up against...

I said yesterday that I think the NFL is seeing what's happening at lower levels and reacting -- with both the illegal hits and the after-play stuff.

Here's an example.  The slamming player (who damn well should've been ejected) is a Kentucky Player of the Year and the #1 recruited tight end in the nation.  This is what he did after a goal-line interception -- a clear ejection-level slam for injurious conduct in high-school football:

That's me:  He's ejected, suspended, and referred to the school for a school suspension.  That is clear Intent To Injure.
