And now, a first for this blog: BASEBALL Political Rankings

I usually do this for football, but there just appears to be too much potential bullshit in baseball at this point not to at least give a wink and a nod to FUCK ROB MANFRED and try to figure out what he really wants.

So here are my first Baseball Political Rankings, again noting things can change:

AL:  Pretty much really a 2-team race, ain't it?  And it looks like the Yankees are fading and fading fast, with their once-insurmountable lead now within shooting range of at least two AL East rivals.  One has to wonder if they'll even MAKE the ALCS, at the rate their last month or two has gone, Aaron Judge notwithstanding.

It's Houston by a distance over the Yanks as a result.  Something would have to happen suspension-wise in both of these teams to even get a third consideration, but it does look like it would come from the AL East.

  1. Houston
  2. Yankees
  3. (long distance down)  Tampa?

NL:  This season, I think, was about what Rob Manfred had that OH SHIT look two years ago when he just had to hand the Commissioner's Trophy to the Dodgers.  Even with all the injuries and the like, the Dodgers are still, kayfabe, the best team in baseball and it isn't that really close.

Too bad this is FUCK ROB MANFRED and I could easily see them FOURTH on the Political list.  And it'd be fifth if not for the Tatis suspension, which pretty much put the skewer in any real plans for San Diego this year.

I'm really 50-50 right now between Cobb County and St. Louis.  Two racist fanbases, send Pujols out with another title, etc.

  1. Cobb County
  2. St. Louis (a 1A, more, because Pujols)
  3. Mets
  4. Dodgers
  5. Philadelphia
  6. Milwaukee
