Forgot to do this -- Sports Media Watch is the usual main source. Week 2 went like this for the ratings:
11.8 million people on Amazon Prime saw the first Prime-exclusive (yes, the game does go over the air to the local markets) Thursday Night Football clash. That's a lot of subscribers, and gives good indication as to the future of pay-to-view television, where you must have a subscription to get the shows you REALLY WANT.
Monday Night Football's split doubleheader drew almost 21 million people -- the bulk of them to Vikings-Eagles (almost 13 million), with just short of 8 million for Titans-Bills. That's an interesting dichotomy, especially given what, until this week, seemed the reality in the AFC!!
Sunday National (CBS): Cowboys-Bengals and an overtime Raiders-Cardinals aided in the biggest Week 2 National window in over 20 years: 14.1 rating, 27.4 million viewers. Highest non-Thanksgiving regular-season window since Week 14 2019 with Chiefs-Patriots.
Sunday Regional (CBS): Patriots-Steelers led 7.4 rating and a 14.1 million viewer take, down a couple ticks in both respects from last year. CBS is having the most-watched NFL season through two weeks it has had in over a decade.
Sunday Night: Bears-Packers was down the same couple of ticks from last year, 10.6 rating, 19.55 million viewers.
Sunday Single (FOX): The big loser of the week -- as Bucs-Saints led only to 8.6 rating and 16.23 million viewers. Down a full ratings point and 2 1/4 million viewers from last year.
