2021 AFC Week 11 Kayfabe and Political Rankings

Going to do these by conference with the Monday Nighter being the Tom Bradys vs. the Giants -- also, with three games on Thursday...  AFC done for the week, so it's time to look at them...

Kayfabe:

East:  New England, 1/2 game over Buffalo

North:  Baltimore, 1 over Cincinnati

South:  Tennessee, 2 over Indianapolis

West:  Kansas City, 1/2 over the Chargers

Break the 7-4 tie KC vs. NE for the #3:  No HTH, now or the rest of the season.  Conference record:  NE 5-1, KC 2-4

The three wild cards right now are Buffalo, Cincinnati, and the Chargers at 6-4.  Break the tie to determine who goes where:  No HTH.  Conference:  BUF 5-4, CIN 4-2, LAC 4-2.  So BUF is the 7.

Rebreak the tie CIN vs. LAC:  They play Dec. 5, so no HTH yet.  Conference is a tie.  Common games:  CIN 3-1, LAC 2-2.  (MIN, PIT, CLE, LV)
  1. TEN 8-3
  2. BAL 7-3
  3. NE 7-4
  4. KC 7-4
  5. CIN 6-4
  6. LAC 6-4
  7. BUF 6-4
BUF @ BAL, LAC @ NE, CIN @ KC, TEN gets the bye.

Political:

Real tough call at this point.

Could make a case for any of the division leaders to be #1.  But, on it's own independent merit:

1) Kansas City

As much as I don't want to with the Britt Reid trial next year, I think it's clear that at least an unsteady footing of the rewrite in the AFC West is, at the very least, having Kansas City on top.  Get back to me after Thursday, December 16th.  If they stay on course, the Chargers could be #1 in the AFC, because they already have one win over KC, and the second one is there.

2) Baltimore

Depends on whether this IS a coverup for Round 3 for COVID for unvaccinated Lamar...  Hmmmm...

3) New England

As I truly said, they are definitely pushing New England at this point, to some degree of an extent.  That said, however, I do think they are a package deal -- and the other half of the package is about to split open and dump it's contents on the ground in the form of fake COVID vaccination cards -- IF AND ONLY IF the reports are true.

4) Los Angeles Chargers

See Kansas City, and if they can keep it up to December 16th, The American Football Chaos might be playing into their hands!!!

DUD OF THE WEEK:

NOMINEES:

:LAS VEGAS:  Pretty much gave up on their season.  Since the Ruggs incident:  23-16 L to the Giants, 41-14 L to the Chiefs, 32-13 L to the Bengals.  5-12 is very possible with this current situation.  The Trytophan Special with the Cowboys next.

LACKSONVILLE:  I actually originally typoed that, and then realized how PERFECT that is, so I'm keeping it.

WINNER:

THE TENNESSEE TITANS

Look, I get the weather sucked, but you're playing HOUSTON!!!  HOW IN HELL DO YOU LOSE TO THEM AS THE #1 SEED IN YOUR CONFERENCE????
