Day 610

  • Dakota Dozier is in the hospital today -- breakthrough case of COVID-19 and having trouble breathing.
  • At least five Vikings, including two starters, are in the COVID protocols.
  • Speaking of the Vikings, civil allegations of assault and battery against Dalvin Cook have the league's attention...
  • More COVID protocol violations are coming out against Aaron Rodgers...  Gee, what a fucking shock.
  • Odell Beckham Jr.'s quest to AB a ring has a veteran-minimum offer from the Packers...
  • Now we're hearing the Houston police chief backing off from the story that a security guard was injected with a sedative, which aided in setting off the crowd crush which killed at least 8 at Astroworld during the Travis Scott concert.  So why are we backing off from this NOW, sir?  Methinks you have some questions to answer...
  • Kareem Abdul-Jabbar's son will spend the next six months in some manner of confinement (he will apply for home confinement, so the sentence does not begin until January) over a neighbor dispute which led to the son stabbing the neighbor over garbage cans the 29 year-old was supposed to take in for an elderly neighbor.
  • In a story nearly of art imitating life:  Sylvester Stallone revealed recently that he was sent to the ICU and nearly died filming "Rocky IV".  Dolph Lundgren, who played Ivan Drago, gave Stallone a real punch after Sly insisted on it.  The punch literally stopped his heart - spent 10 days in the ICU over it.
  • It is now confirmed that Jimmy Lake will be out at Washington -- either at the end of the season or at some point before it.
