  • Over was 9-7 for 107-130-3.  (Last year:  7-8-1 for 116-118-6.)
  • Favorites for the week:  8-7 ATS 10-5 SU  (Last year:  9-6 ATS 11-4 SU)
  • Season favorites:  113-123-2 ATS 147-89-1 SU (Last year:  105-128-1 ATS 158-77-1 SU)
  • Only 168 penalties this week (10 1/2 per game).  Season, for 240 games, 2,910 (12.12)  (Last year:  191 (Almost 12 per game) for 2,742 (11.4))
  • Teams with more penalties this week were 7-5 for 94-109 for the season.  (Last year:  4-9 for 93-110)

  • Half the 16 games finished within one score.  112 for the season.  (Last year:  8 as well, but for 129 total)
  • Six non-competitive games this week for 90 overall.  (Last year also had six, but for only 73)
  • Five Last Chance Misses for 56 overall.  (Last year, 7 for 78)
Interesting side notes:
  • That annihilation of Washington Sunday night was the biggest margin of victory in the NFL in over a year (NE 45 - LAC 0 Wk 13 last year).
  • Dallas' 56 points were the most since Buffalo put 56 on Miami Wk 17 of last year.
  • Last time a team scored more was when Houston won 57-14 over Tennessee Wk 4 of 2017.
  • There have already been more penalties and non-competitive games than there were all of last season.
