Day 646

  • A disciplinary breach consummate to being late off of a trip that Pierre-Emrick Aubameyang took has cost him his captainship of Arsenal and at least a material two-game suspension.
  • The team responded in the second game with a 2-0 victory over West Ham.
  • I am wrong:  The allegations of physical abuse were finally enough.  Urban Meyer has been FIRED as Jaguars coach.  Next to go, IMODO:  The Khans.  If the team is going to survive in Jacksonville at all, it is fucking BEYOND TIME that a serious effort to put a competitive product on the field be made -- not a team which could be defeated by the other Khan's project in the United States!
  • That's three head coaches fired in 13 months -- in the last 29 games, the Jaguars have won THREE.
  • And we've got another CTE death.  Vincent Jackson, found in February, another Stage 2 CTE.
  • The Montreal Canadiens will go fanless because of the Omicron COVID spike for at least tonight.
  • Case Keenum has tested positive for COVID.  With four more players on defense, the Browns epidemic has now reached 20 -- and Baker Mayfield demanding Saturday's game with Las Vegas be postponed.  He's right, but with tonight's game about to kick off, it won't happen...
  • The English Premier League has lost five matches in the last six days due to COVID.  Several clubs have asked the league to shut down, with an eye toward next year's adjusted schedule for the winter World Cup.
  • Nine MORE Rams have been added to the COVID list.  Anything from the Arizona Cardinals yet?
  • According to the Los Angeles Times:  That's 25 Rams now on the COVID list.
