Day 657 Part Two

  • The population of the United States, July 1, 2020 to July 1, 2021 -- rose just 393,000 peopleThere's Piece of Evidence #3 that I think the Free-Dumb types have gotten at least a 1-1.5% total US population die-off due to COVID, and that, for those, is just the starting bid!!   The average change, 2010-2020, was over 2.3 million.
  • Piece of evidence #4: That same study (announced Dec. 21st), put the total birth-death delta at only +148,000.  The rest was immigration.
  • Washington's sideline last night devolved into a fight as Dallas came up with the biggest rout of the NFL season with a 56-14 routing of the Football Team.  At least one punch was thrown.
  • With a 7-7 team in each conference in tonight's MNF game, both conferences' Kayfabes and Politicals will be tonight -- and boy, is it a mess, especially in the AFC!
  • Three division champions and five playoff spots are done in the NFC.  Only one division champ and playoff spot in the AFC.
  • Duke is losing two basketball games due to COVID.
  • There is MAJOR concern at CFP contestant Georgia regarding their COVID situation, with the hot spot the state is having.
  • The thirteenth member of the Boston Celtics in a week has entered the protocols.  With vaccinated players testing negative leaving the protocols, they have nine there now.  Boston is scheduled to play at Minnesota tonight.
  • The first of four scheduled matches in the NHL for Tuesday has been postponed:  Columbus and Chicago will not play.
  • Two matches on a full slate for Wednesday are already called off.
  • 29 games were scheduled for tomorrow night in men's college D1 basketball.  11 have already been scrapped.
  • Coach of the Phoenix Suns is in the COVID protocols -- third NBA coach to go in.
  • The Carolina Panthers could be in some trouble for their next game.  The team was sent home from Monday film and the like today with a number of positives.  They had eight players out due to COVID yesterday, and a "somewhat significant" further number going out today.
  • I usually do a separate post about this, but the fact is that I've already done like five posts today and I have five more, probably, to do tonight:  But looking at Week 17:  I see two irrelevant games.  14 of the 16 have some relevance.
  • And for Week 18, as of now:  Two, maybe three.
  • Add the Arizona Bowl to the list -- Boise State is out.  That makes at least FIVE bowls now off the table.
