• Add two more COVID cancellations in the NBA:  Cavs-Hawks and Nuggets-Nets are off for today.
• And the Nets also are cancelled for Tuesday night's game as well.  I'd think a pretty good chance that ESPN/ABC quintuple-header could have a gap in it -- couldn't happen to a "nicer" naming-rights situation.  Fuck crypto counterfeit shit.
• The Cavs have at least five now in the protocols.
• Lakers coach Frank Vogel has the virus.
• Eight other games are still on Sunday -- for now.
• 76ers-Pelicans is in some danger...
• And was eventually postponed, making three postponements today.
• Orlando-Toronto is already off for tomorrow.
• Speaking of having the virus, so does Queen guitarist Brian May!
• And Sen. Elizabeth Warren.
• And Sen. Cory Booker.
• And Rep. Jason Crow of Colorado.
• Carlos Marin of Il Divo has passed due to COVID.
• The NHL has suspended all cross-border games until after Christmas.
• The NHL has all but ruled out participation in the Beijing Olympics.  They have to finalize whatever decision they choose to make by January 10.
• If you take a look at the current NHL schedule, they might as well just shut down for the Christmas break now.  

1. Half an 8-game schedule toast for today/tonight.
2. Three of five games cancelled for tomorrow.
3. Six of ten on Tuesday.
4. ALL FOUR on Wednesday.
5. And nine out of fifteen on Thursday, the last day before the break.

• Add Detroit to the list.  So that's six teams and all cross-border games called until after Christmas for the NHL.  Best-case scenario is what Olbermann said -- cancel the Olympic break, use what was it to get these games played.  Now, Olbermann is proposing a new schedule not unakin to the all-Canadian division they did last year.  
• And, a couple days after UCLA closed off it's basketball programs, positives at USC are threatening the same.
• Ohio State has had to cancel it's second straight men's basketball game.  After cancelling against Kentucky late last week, UT-Martin got cancelled on Sunday for their Tuesday night game.

I want you to look at that again -- we're back at March, 2020 and onward again.  There are virologists claiming this could be as contagious as the measles.
