- As all but expected that there will be games deleted from the Christmas 5-spot on the ABC/ESPN family, the NBA has told the ten teams to be prepared for games to be moved, with the announcement as late as Friday. Lakers-Nets is almost a sure goner.
- But as of this afternoon, Adam Silver says the NBA will NOT suspend the season. We'll see how long THAT holds!
- Priority will be given to the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th slots of the quintupleheader.
- The NHL decision on the Olympics has reportedly been made: They aren't going.
- The EPL is still (maddeningly) going ahead with their holiday match schedule! For now...
- In an announcement which will probably give joy to a few people Stephen A. Smith of ESPN has announced he's COVID-positive, breakthrough case. He said he probably got it during an endoscopy procedure last week.
- The Chiefs have added three to the COVID list today.
- Another $35,000 for Amy Schneider today. 15 wins and now over $600,000 as she keeps rolling and making history in several ways on Jeopardy!.
- Michigan is going to aid in ensuring their CFP run takes place by getting the COVID booster shot all at once as a team.
- The one NHL game was played -- Tampa beat Las Vegas 4-3 in the only remaining match before the extended Christmas break.
- Tottenham Hotspur, because of the congested schedule and a COVID outbreak, has been thrown out of the UEFA Conference League by forfeiting their final group stage match.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
