- TOM BRADY is the 2021 Sports Illustrated Sportsperson of the Year. Tom Brady becomes, with his 2005 win as well, only the third man to win the award multiple times. Brady and Tiger Woods have won it twice, LeBron James has technically won it three times -- twice on the court, the third being part of the humanitarian-causes group which won last year's award.
- Unvaccinated athletes will not be allowed to play in Toronto, and the NBA and NHL have warned unvaccinated players about crossing the Canadian border.
- With the diplomatic boycott of Beijing 2022 by the United States now assured, China is saying that the USA will pay a price for it. Boycott the whole damn Games, USA. Have a spine if you're going to do anything at all!!
