- A nude man, apparently under the influence of both cocaine and LSD, was arrested and charged after falling into a pit at the Buffalo Bills' new stadium site.
- The joke writes itself: The newest member of the Bills Mafia??
- Monday Night Football has a new anthem: A Southern-fried White boy version of Phil Collins' classic "In The Air Tonight", with a dose of Snoop Dogg at least in the video.
- YEESH!!!
- And also announced today, a move which will surprise precisely... no one: Because of the Hollywood strikes, ABC will now broadcast Monday Night Football all season, or at least until the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes end.
- The NFL is actually filing a grievance against the NFLPA -- for what was reported earlier as the NFLPA actually asking for running backs to feign injuries to force the league to take the position more seriously and pay them.
- No suspension for Denver's Kareem Jackson, who committed his second defenseless-receiver fineable offense yesterday and became, under the helmet rule, the first ejection of the 2023 NFL season. We'll find out (about $28,000 worth of finding out) about 1 PM Eastern on Saturday.
- If you want to see why the World Series is becoming more and more a formality for the Barfs: Marcell Ozuna hit his 35th home run yesterday. The Barfs become the first team in MLB history (even the Steroid Era!) to have four players in the same season with 35 or more home runs.
- Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...
- For sexual harassment, Michigan State University has fired head football coach Mel Tucker.
- Colorado State's Henry Blackburn and his family have received threats over a hit which put Colorado's Travis Hunter -- putting the two-way star out for three weeks.
- The hit was flagged.
- The threats include doxxing.
- The two biggest games of the year for Colorado are it's next two: at #10 Oregon, at home to #5 USC.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
