Very serious piece of news out of Canada which could result in war...
- Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau believes he has credible evidence the government of India was involved in the murder of Hardeep Singh Najjar in Canada.
- Najjar is believed to be a Khalistani terrorist, and that the government of Canada is being accused of harboring more Khalistani operatives against India.
- At least one Indian diplomat has been expelled by Canada.
- Two for two on at least the main Monday Night Football games of the two weeks. Not sure if we're three for three, because dunno if anyone got a season-ending injury in New Orleans-Carolina, but Cleveland's Nick Chubb is done for the year with a knee, one week after COVIDIOT-8 twanged his entire leg and lost his Achilles.
- And you might wanna look away if you're squeamish. And the league might need to suspend Pittsburgh's Minkah Fitzpatrick...
Minkah Fitzpatrick is a dirty player.

That’s a dirty hit.
Idc how you cut it.

- No flag on that play. That's a multi-game suspension hit. That's why you see roughing the passer calls when tacklers go low on the quarterbacks.
- Chubb is officially out for the season. NFL RedZone host Scott Hanson said last night that he believed that to be the scenario you ask for: That it was so bad, you hope it's only this season.
- Four in, six out so far in Major League Baseball.
- In another move which should surprise no one: The XFL and USFL are in "advanced talks" to merge. It appears to me, given this news, that the XFL should be the surviving brand -- word is it will happen this offseason.
- If you want an idea just how much Coach Prime is having his name and likeness change things in Colorado: Colorado vs. Colorado State, with all the backtack and locker-room material, was the fifth most-watched regular-season game of all time in ESPN/ABC college football history.
- Deadspin is now reporting Sergio Brown is posting on Instagram in Mexico, and, on top of it, is stating reports of his mother's death are false. Stay tuned, and that's impression #2 I'm right with my original belief.
- And if you want an idea of why people are questioning the running back position these days, look at this Tweet, and the injury list, already:

He should be out for the rest of the year, but he probably won't be. You don't do that. They have not dealt with players leading with the helmet enough.
ReplyDeleteHe won't even get Week 3 for that. He should, because that's a takeout event right there.
DeleteThere is some concern Nick Chubb's career is over. That was a bad one.
