- It appears, with the understanding that RFK Jr. knows the DNC will never allow him to be the nominee, that Robert Kennedy Jr. is about to or already has announced an independent run for the Presidency. Now, the only question left is whether he becomes the top of the No Labels ticket that Sinema and Manchin are trying to put together.
- One of the last living witnesses to the death of Tupac Shakur is now charged with his murder, as well as orchestrating it. "Keffe D", real name Duane Davis, was officially charged with murder with a deadly weapon in Las Vegas. According to reports, he admits he was in the Cadillac from which the shots which killed Tupac were fired. Obviously will be remanded for trial.
- Though the last lethal injection in Nevada was 17 years ago, the death penalty is still on the books and a possible sentence here.
- Baseball:
- Toronto beats Tampa 11-4. Houston beats Arizona 2-0. Seattle beats Texas 8-0.
- Texas by 1 over Houston, 2 over Seattle. Seattle must sweep Texas to have a tiebreaker chance at the division, and Houston must lose twice.
- Baltimore is AL #1, AL West is #2 after the last Twins loss. Minnesota is #3. Tampa is #4.
- Toronto is 1 up on Houston, 2 up on Seattle for the wildcards. Basically, Seattle must sweep or they're out. Toronto Magic Number is 1, Houston Magic Number is 2.
- Miami beat Pittsburgh 4-3, Cincinnati beat St. Louis by an absurd score. Chicago Cubs lost to Milwaukee 4-3 in 10.
- Cobb County NL #1 and Best Record in Baseball. Dodgers NL #2. Milwaukee #3. Philadelphia #4.
- Arizona is 1/2 game up on Miami (a 1/2 game Miami is one-half inning in New York on Monday away from getting back). Cincinnati and Chicago are now 1 1/2 back of Miami and probably have to sweep and hope Miami loses twice! Arizona's Magic Number is 1, Miami's is 2, with the above caveat.
- So we know now that next week's wildcard series will be in Minnesota, Tampa, Milwaukee, and Philly. But that's all we know, two days left.
- And yes, with the setup, the 1/2 inning in New York may be necessary even if Miami is in and the only question is the 5 vs. the 6. (MIA was 4-2 over ARI).
- Complete crash-out for the USA in the Ryder Cup. Even with winning the afternoon session with the first three wins of the weekend, they go into Sunday's singles behind five full points, 10 1/2-5 1/2.
- Including an unbelievable NINE AND SEVEN loss in the morning session, the largest in an 18-hole match in the history of the Cup.
- The Americans, to win the Cup, would need nine points tomorrow.
- Joshua Primo, fired from the San Antonio Spurs for sexual misconduct, has been suspended four games by the NBA for exposing himself to women.
- And he's lying to you if there wasn't more to it than that...
- AND it's another REAL MAN, non-drag queen, non-transgender... So why's he not doing about five years as a sex offender in the relevant state's prison system?
- That's right -- maybe they can get him back in the NBA. And Adam Silver just enabled that shit!
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
