• It's an Achilles.  Complete tear.  Career over.  Listed as done for the season for now, but...

• Tennis star Simona Halep now has a four-year doping ban, speaking of careers being over.  Roxadustat at last year's US Open was the second such violation.
• And the same can be said for Paul Pogba, who also faces four years for excessive testosterone.
• And a report indicates he did not consult with Juventus, allowing them to fire him immediately, no money and for cause.
• Today is a very important day in the history of "sports entertainment":  Today is the day that the UFC/WWE Endeavor merger takes effect.  For the first time in the history of the "sports entertainment" company, the WWE is no longer materially owned by a McMahon.  
• Vince is still on the board (HHH is NOT...).
• Merged company is TKO on the NYSE.
• Material out today from a lawsuit filed by former NFL reporter Jim Trotter indicates that the White Boys owning the NFL do not like the Black players very well:
• "If they don't like it here, let them go back to Africa and see how bad it is." -- Terry Pegula, owner of the Bills.
• "If Blacks feel some kind of way, let them buy their own team and let them hire who they want to hire." -- Jerry Jones, owner of the Cowboys.  Never minding the White owners would never allow that on a vote.  They'd let the Saudis do it first.
