2022 NFL Week 14 Political Rankings

NFC:

1) Philadelphia

2) Dallas

The top two, and their order, in the NFC, are rather easy.  And I think it's clear these are the two best teams in the NFL and should meet for the NFC title.  The problem is that it would require at least two of the other three division champions to lose (Dallas to the NFC South, and either Minnesota or the NFC West champion), or these two would meet in the divisional round.

3) San Francisco

Don't look now, but San Fran is 9-4 and actually has a head of steam on them.

DUD OF THE WEEK:

Nominees:

Minnesota Vikings:  Oh, you CAN'T let that happen.  You just CAN'T.

Las Vegas, vis-a-vis the Vikings:  ... but someone has to explain to me how in the Hell the Lions were actually favored in this game.  They were 2.5-point favorites, according to ESPN's findings from Caesar's Sportsbook.

Two winners this week:

NEW YORK GIANTS:  And it's not just one week either.  This team was 6-1 at one point, and now has gone 1-4-1 to be at the back end of the playoffs.

TAMPA BAY TOM BRADYS:  Oh.  My.  God.  What was that???  I mean, I get that San Francisco, clicking on all cylinders, is a threat in the NFC, but this now exposes that, at best, the Bucs are a 4-9 team with at least two blatant rig-jobs.

AFC:

1) Buffalo

You think the NFL wants a mulligan on that Minnesota game?

2) Kansas City

Again, these two teams are head and shoulders above the rest of the conference.

3) Cincinnati

Don't look now, but they're 9-4 and Lamar is banged up.

I can't rank Baltimore til I have an idea of how healthy Lamar Jackson is.

DUD OF THE WEEK:

Nominees:

New York Jets:  Notice that the Jets and Giants are both off the rankings list?  Like their New York brothers, started 5-2, have dropped four of their last six.

DeRapist Rapist:  Has shown NOTHING in his two games back.

Tennessee Titans:  Hoo boy.  How?  And Vegas didn't think much of the Jaguars.
