- If Deion Sanders had any good will from how he left Jackson State, he immediately squandered it upon coming to Colorado: He just effectively threw everybody off the team, telling the entire new squad to go to the transfer portal. He's bringing in many of the players who were at Jackson State.
- He has also received his first recruit.
- OUCH! But Colorado has not had a full-season bowl-eligible team since 2016, and then 2007 -- with one bowl win this millennium, in 2004. So, really, Sanders is just imposing some accountability in the program, "firing" the players who Colorado has had. We'll see if it works.
- First off, they actually have to get him there: The athletic director admits they do not have the budget to fulfill Sanders' contract. Then maybe... drop football, since your record seems to indicate you don't have the budget to fulfill having a competitive team either????
- The principal of a Huntington Beach, CA elementary school was going to go to prison for domestic battery after an argument with his wife at a hearing today. He committed suicide at Disneyland over the weekend instead.
- Baker Mayfield is no longer of use to Carolina and is being cut today.
- Well, the Mets got their replacement for DeGrom: They get Justin Verlander. (And Kate Upton will be pleased.)
- Trea Turner is out of Los Angeles, he's a Phillie -- 11 years, $300,000,000.
- Bob from Sesame Street -- Bob McGrath -- passed away today in his 90's.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
