- Commanders running back Brian Robinson Jr., who has aided in Washington's 7-5-1 start after being shot in a pre-season incident, has won the 2022 Sports Illustrated Inspiration of the Year Award.
- Kyrsten Sinema puts the dagger in the Democrats' back, finally switching to Independent this morning. Surprisingly, it appears as if she will NOT formally caucus with the Republicans.
- There is an ESPN report that ten FCS schools are going to align for football purposes only and petition to become a conference in FBS as soon as can feasibly be done. Not what I expected -- and, frankly, about five years too late in my opinion, especially in NIL realities, etc.
- ABC has cancelled a Backstreet Boys holiday special for next week, due to an allegation and lawsuit that Nick Carter drugged and raped a fan with autism and cerebral palsy two decades ago. All I have to say on this is that better not be true, or you just ended that entire group's careers -- all of them. And that's not to say the other guys in the group deserve that end, but that would be lower than low.
- The special was to feature songs off the group's new holiday album.
- The 2022 Game Awards were held last night. Elden Ring won Game of the Year in a tight race over God of War: Ragnarok.
- A teenager was able to briefly take the stage and the microphone before being arrested during the show, according to gaming website Kotaku.
- Commenters appear to make it indicate that the teenager was a right-wing troll, but no hard evidence has been found as of yet.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
