2021 Week 7 Kayfabe Report

God, was that ugly.

That may have been one of the worst weeks in NFL history.

And it's blown up a lot of even the kayfabe situation.

Let's get to it quickly:

AFC:

East:  Buffalo (4-2), a game and a half over New England.
North:  Cincinnati, who, by beating Baltimore this week in their first meeting, has the 5-2 HTH.
South:  Tennessee (5-2) two over Indianapolis
West:  Las Vegas (5-2), half game over the Chargers

Seeding:

Three way tie, Cincinnati, Tennessee, Las Vegas.  No HTH sweep applicable.  Conference:  CIN 3-0, TEN and LV 4-1.  CIN #1.

TEN and LV tiebreaker for #2:  Have not and will not play.  Conference both 4-1.  No common opponents, so break out the Strength of Victory:  TEN:  .394  LV:  .412.  LV #2, TEN #3, BUF #4.

Wildcards:  Baltimore is 5-2 for #5.  LA Chargers are 4-2 for #6.  Cleveland is 4-3 for #7.  Simple enough.

First out:  Pittsburgh at 3-3.  Last place in the division.

Order:  CIN, LV, TEN, BUF, BAL, LAC, CLE

Six teams in the American Football Chaos with two losses through seven weeks.

South:  Tampa Bay (6-1), a game and a half ahead of the Saints
West:  Arizona (7-0), 1 game ahead of the Rams.

Five teams in the NFC with one or fewer losses.

ARI #1

The Bays have a tiebreak at #2:  Do not play this year.  Both 4-1 in the conference.  One common game between them, insufficient, so break out the Strength of Victory:  GB:  .375  TB:  .425  TB #2  GB #3

DAL #4

Wildcards:  LA Rams 6-1 for #5, NO 4-2 for #6

Minnesota and Atlanta have to break a tie at 3-3 for the final spot.  It goes to conference record:  MIN 3-1, ATL 1-3.  MIN #7
