- Los Angeles Rams: Clay Matthews: $12,500 for criticism of officials.
- Detroit Lions, and you saw this one coming: Tracy Walker gets $12,500 for not accepting the rigged loss (criticism of officials).
- Neither of the rigged calls for "hands to the face" were fined. Thanks for cooperating, Lions plebs. Thanks for watching, Lions
fanssuckers. - Sounds like we have a pattern here: Cleveland Browns: Baker Mayfield: Same fine, same reason (same stated reason).
- And that one dings the Browns the same $12,500 for their fine record.
- So that's at least $50,000 this week for statements against the refs. I have a feeling this may translate on the field for Sunday as well!
- Seattle Seahawks: Jadeveon Clowney: $21,056 for roughing the passer.
- New York Jets: Kyle Phillips and
- New York Jets: Neville Hewitt, both $21,056 for roughing the passer. Neither illegal hit on Dak Prescott was called.
- Carolina Panthers: Mario Addison: $10,527 for a face mask.
- New Orleans Saints: He's probably not getting THIS ONE back, though: DeMario Davis: $28,075 for a defenseless player foul.
- Another doubled fine for the Cleveland Browns: Larry Ogunjobi: $10,527 for a light roughing the passer penalty.
- At least one piece of good news: The Browns will not be fined this week, for the first time this season. It's their bye week. They're 7 for 7, the preseason and all six of their first games.
- And another doubled fine for the Browns: Odell Beckham Jr. just got #12: $14,037 for his pants being too short.
- I still think there have to be quite a few more, but they really hamstrung this week, to probably emphasize they want the players to shut up. Will keep looking.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
