2019 Week Seven NFL Fine Blotter

Before I begin:
  • The New York Jets RELEASED Kelechi Osemele today after he got surgery on a labrum torn completely off the bone.  The Jets did not want him to get the surgery -- Osemele exercised his right under the CBA to give it due consideration and do it anyway -- stay tuned!!!  And reports are that, when the doctors put Osemele under the knife, the damage was WORSE than first anticipated.
Now to the fines:
  • New Orleans Saints:  CJ Gardner-Johnson was not happy on his Twitter on Friday:  Woke up to a $21,056 fine for roughing the passer.
  • Kansas City Chiefs:  Tyreek Hill:  $10,527 for flashing the peace sign to his opponents, taunting them on a touchdown.
  • Green Bay Packers:  And this one's an expensive one:  Jimmy Graham, fined $25,000 for not speaking to the media this season...
  • Which triggers a $50,000 team fine for accumulated fines for the Pack, the third team to reach that plateau.
  • Buffalo Bills:  Josh Allen:  $7,017 for a ball into the stands.
  • Minnesota Vikings:  Anthony Barr:  $21,056 for roughing the passer
  • Atlanta Falcons:  Foye Oluokun:  $21,056 for roughing the passer
  • Atlanta Falcons:  Devonta Freeman:  $14,037 for throwing a punch at Aaron Donald
  • And that's team #4 over the first fine threshold.  $50,000 from the Falcons
  • Miami Dolphins:  Christian Wilkins:  $10,527 for getting tossed for a punch.
  • Miami Dolphins:  Jerome Baker:  $21,056 for what would've been roughing the passer had he been called for it on the field.
  • Dallas Cowboys:  Xavier Woods:  $28,075 for major unnecessary roughness.
  • Oakland Raiders:  Benson Mayowa:  $21,056 for roughing the passer.
  • At least one appeal to wipe off.  Zach Ertz won his appeal on a $28,075 fine he got vs. the Packers.
