- It is now official: DeShaun Watson is done in Houston. Even if Tyrod Taylor is out, Watson will not be made active. Just do the same thing they did in Minnesota and put him on the Commissioner's List and dare the PA to do something about it...
- Tom Brady says the undefeated Buccaneers "have even more to show"... I believe it. I look at the first two weeks, and, with just the right ref-juice here, there and everywhere, 20-0 now appears more than plausible. Part of it is what the league has built in Tampa Bay around Tom Brady. Part of it, honestly, is how few even GOOD teams there are otherwise. At least as of June, you could get 40-1... It's clear that the NFL would LIKE that result...
- More bitching by Sports Illustrated against the taunting rule changes. If anything, they aren't being called enough. At some point, really, you almost have to go to the "any non-football act in the presence of a player on the other team is illegal" situation. Or even further...
- Urban Meyer is trying to talk the Jaguars fans into thinking they will get better. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA... Urban, this franchise is a lost cause. That's 17 in a row, going back to last year. (The modern NFL record is 26, by the expansion Buccaneers -- it took them nearly two seasons to win one game.)
- All Elite Wrestling and Martha Hart and others in the Owen Hart Foundation have launched an working agreement in principle, including an Owen Hart Cup Tournament coming to the brand, it was announced this morning.
- Two-time Australian Olympic swimming relay gold medalist Madi Wilson is in the hospital with the coronavirus, a breakthrough case. And I'm including this link for one reason: I want you to take a close look at the Instagram picture of Wilson as she announces it, especially her arms. THIS IS NOT A FUCKING JOKE, PEOPLE...
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
