- And the last of the Mike Richards episodes aired yesterday: 23 in a row now for Matt Amodio. Five lockouts in a row, this one giving Amodio a little room for $50,400 for the day and $825,801 for the run so far.
- $251,000 this week. And that's not boding well for his opposition. More on that later.
- One of the largest incidents from Week 1 spurred the only ejection of the week -- a punch-up between Cleveland's Ronnie Harrison and a coach on the Kansas City Chiefs. Though the Chiefs' coach was the first involved, he was only warned. Harrison was ejected and fined $12,128.
- The long-feared "Justice for J6" rally... maybe a couple hundred cowards and idiots...
- The USC football team had an unfortunate incident with their plane. The crew on the ground forgot to set the tail stand -- and the plane tipped backward with half the team and coaches still on it! No apparent injuries, hopefully no damage to the plane either!
- Thankfully for USC, once they got on the field, they beat Washington State 45-14.
- Marcell Ozuna of the Braves is probably done for the year -- his domestic-violence administrative leave has been extended again, at least through this Friday.
- Mike Wright has been suspended by MLB for three games for intentionally plunking Shohei Ohtani -- Wright, after backing Ohtani off with the first pitch, fired the second one about 50 feet, and the third one intentionally plunked Ohtani.
- Manager Tony LaRussa was suspended one game. Wright has appealed. LaRussa served today.
- Three days after surviving the recall, California Governor Gavin Newsom has had to announce that two of his kids have the virus.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
