- The long-awaited showdown between Ozeki Terunofuji and Yokozuna Hakuho will take place Sunday in Nagoya -- both men undefeated in the July tournament -- the winner will win a Zensho-Yusho -- an undefeated 15-0 championship.
- Sports Illustrated reports that teams and venues may eventually (and, given the level of fan misconduct, soon!) use casino-level facial-recognition technology to enforce bans imposed on unruly fans.
- Jay Williams has removed himself from the ABC NBA Finals coverage. Breakthrough (fully-vaccinated) COVID diagnosis. Oh boy...
- And that has now extended to the Milwaukee Bucks as well. The older brother of "The Greek Freak" also plays for the Bucks -- or at least DID until he tested positive for the virus before Game 5. Several members of the Bucks staff also have tested positive and have had to enter protocols.
- Also, one of the game officials, Sean Wright, has tested positive for the virus -- an alternate official has had to step in to ensure a full crew for Game 5.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
