Day 484

• The hits just keep on coming with spectators running amok.  One doofus in Scotland actually walked right up to Rory McIlroy's bag at the start of his second round at the Scottish Open., took one of the clubs, and started practice swings with it.  Ejected and arrested, but how much is finally enough of this shit???  
• McIlroy missed the cut.
• This weekend is the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament.  And, wouldn't you know it, the Round Mound of Golfing Suck, Charles Barkley, is in the field.  According to ESPN Chalk, one of the larger liabilities to the Vegas sportsbooks on this weekend is that Charles Barkley will finish in the top 70 of the field of 89 golfers.  That bet WAS 16-1 -- there are 88 in the field (Barkley would have to beat 19 of them -- he beat ONE last year!).
• Someone please send me your money if you're going to throw it away this blatantly, though:  Barkley is FIFTH among the entire field in bets TO WIN THE TOURNAMENT!!!  75-1.  Thankfully, the largest such bet is $50.
• And ANOTHER Kansas City Chief is in major trouble with the law.  Frank Clark, felony weapons possession after a CHP stop in California.
