With the league probably a distant fourth in it's season cycle to the NFL, NBA, and college basketball, this might be a bit of an existential problem for the NHL.
The league, according to reports released Monday, has a cocaine problem.
There appears to be a significant issue, Yahoo! Sports reports, in Toronto, where the police in Toronto actually met with a Maple Leafs executive stating that people within the organization may be using the drug or associating with those who are.
It is serious enough that, though cocaine is not on the banned substances list yet (!!!), it may have to be in the future.
