First, the Texas Longhorns. Again.
Ever since Charlie Strong tried to force an ounce of conscience into the Longhorn football program, the Longhorn football problem has, to put it lightly, STANK ON ICE.
TCU blew out Texas today, and it sounds like at least one player has had enough of the Longhorns...
John Lopez of Sports Radio 610 has the word:
Now that's a halftime adjustment: A Texas player IN THIS GAME retweeted about transferring at halftime. Wow. pic.twitter.com/06x71XUl6v

You saw that right - apparently, it's a Longhorn player who is tweeting about transferring from Texas at HALFTIME.
Well, after the Longhorns were routed, the Texas Rangers (or at least someone in their social-media department, also had had enough of the Longhorns -- or, more specifically, coach Charlie Strong:
(Tweet's been deleted. Re-sourced to Deadspin and Peter Pope's Twitter.)
And the Rangers fired the guy who posted it, as they said in this apology to Strong... (As reported by the Dallas Morning News' Evan Grant.)

Well, at this point, the Rangers were three outs from clinching the division and all-but-eliminating the Angels, up 10-6 entering the ninth.
In a classic case of "KARMA, BITCH!!", the Angels scored five in the ninth and threw out Texas' only baserunner in the bottom of the ninth on an overslid steal of second to win 11-10 and stay alive for the play-in game.
