- An ugly incident at the University of Arizona last night. A UCLA redshirt freshman was arrested for spitting at the crowd after Arizona won a hotly contested top 10 battle between the two teams.
- In another sign the Snyder Report will never see the light of day for Reasons, the Congressional roundtable has said in a statement they do not believe the document can go public without Snyder's consent. FUCK THAT!!! You don't want to. And most of us with two brain cells to rub together know why.
- Ah, curious... As Karl Denninger points out today: The Bureau of Lies and Scams has erased the entire 18+ non-institutionalized population run rate deficiency in annual error corrections usually brought out in the February job print.
- He expected this would happen, so did I, and it's bullshit. For to keep that "error" in there, you then come to one of two ominous conclusions: Either what I believe is going on (that we've lost 3-5 million to this virus already, and that's WITH the mitigations!!), or what a lot of the "freedom lovers" think is going on (that the vaccines are doing it -- but if that's the case, we're in the nascent stages of a National Elimination List). Either way, the government cannot admit the population change at this point, even though the Census Bureau has already said that, for 2020, births and deaths were roughly at equal numbers!
- Ominous number from the Census Bureau which should prove this BLS "error correction" as bullshit: On Census Day, 2020, the US population was 331,449,281. On December 21, 2021, the same Census Bureau reported their estimate of the US population at 331,893,745 -- an increase, in a year and a half, of about 400,000. The rate of increase is the slowest in the nation's history. Gee, I fucking wonder WHY????
- Half of the American states had more deaths than births last year.
- The offer of a mediator by Major League Baseball has been rejected by the Players Association.
- Kareem Abdul-Jabbar has only one question about the Rooney Rule part of the Flores lawsuit: What took you so long? He says racism is an inherent part of the NFL, like a "vestigal limb". Kareem, who usually does quite well with his righteous anger, is wrong in only one respect: The "limb" is not "vestigal". This is one of the main reasons I believe it will take a(n at least threatened) Black players' strike to stop it, and nothing short of it -- even this lawsuit! It's the only thing which took down Sterling.
- One of the conspiracy theorists who's made some noise this year is Barry McCockiner. His Tom Brady Tribute Video: Almost 18 minutes of that classic dump off into the flat Brady always threw!
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
