- Britney may be in trouble. Tried to grab #1 draft pick Victor Wenbayama in Las Vegas, and got a response from his security -- now lawyers are getting involved.
- It now appears the police are saying Britney struck herself. Ruh-roh.
- A hazing investigation at Northwestern finds enough evidence to suspend the head coach for two weeks -- but not to fire Pat Fitzgerald???
- Scary moment for Madonna. It now is becoming clear that Narcan was needed to reverse sepsis shock which would've killed the pop icon if someone hadn't been alert to it a number of days ago -- she's still bedridden.
- There is a report that Narcan was administered to revive her after an overdose (which is the common parlance of the use of the drug), but the initial reports did indicate bacterial infection and sepsis shock, which is another use of the drug.
- Ozeki Takakeisho will be kadoban again in September. He's out with his recurring injuries for the July tournament after needing 13 days to save his Ozeki status (and the Sumo Association's neck!) last tournament.
- More evidence that either COVID is not over or someone needs to start shooting NOW. According to right-wing pig Karl Denninger, the Bureau of Labor Statistics buried, this month, a 400,000-person reduction, month over month, in the total 16+ non-institutional population with a Bachelor's degree or better. Which means, if you believed it, a NET 400,000 people Bachelor's or better died. Last month. Meaning June, where quite a number of Bachelor's degrees were handed out!
- In stark contrast, alarm is being sounded in the anime community over the crowd crushing which was occurring last weekend at the annual Anime Expo in Los Angeles.
- The event has now officially outgrown Los Angeles. 160,000 people crushed the LACC over the weekend. And, again, that's a unique-person count, not "one each time you go in".
- Some of the pictures are utterly frightening.
- At least the 11th motor-vehicle violation in the Georgia football program this offseason. Samuel M'Pemba got busted for 88 in a 55.
- This after Marcus Rosemy-Jacksaint actually was briefly placed in a holding cell for large-scale speeding, 90 in a 45.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
