- In the SECOND move today which will come across as shocking -- the first will get it's own discussion at some point -- Nick Kyrgios is a Grand Slam tennis champion, winning the Australian Open men's doubles championship with fellow countryman (Greek by birth, Australian by current living) Thanasi Kokkinakis.
- Damon Arnette has been fired from his second NFL team -- he was supposed to, once the NFL league year started in March, try to relaunch his career in Kansas City after being fired from the Raiders. He won't be: Arrested in Las Vegas AGAIN on two counts of assault with a deadly weapon, an unpermitted gun, (I assume Federal charges of/a large quantity of) marijuana possession, and possession of another controlled substance.
- At least one of the fans in Philadelphia who drew the ire of Carmello Anthony during a game with the Lakers this week has been banned from all future games going forward. Anyone else noticing we're seeing more of this?
- In a move which would probably surprise no one and cause most Michigan fans to groan -- there is now talk of the Vikings getting permission to talk to Jim Harbaugh to become the new head coach.
- Indonesia will host a World Esports Championships this year -- in the idea to eventually attempt to get the genre on the Olympic programme. However, the country's anti-doping situation is non-compliant, so WADA is protesting the decision. And if you think that's a complete misnomer -- hoo boy, have you got some education coming on e-sports.
The truth is not what actually happened. It's what you can ENFORCE happened. It's ALL enforcement.
