Day 641

  • Win #37 for Amy Schneider, one away from Matt Amodio's total on Jeopardy!
  • A personal-best $46,400 after Double, and then finally converts a big Final for $25,000 -- that's $71,400 (just short of Ken's best number, and she could've beaten it and gone past $80K) for $1,253,200.
  • She passes John Carpenter in one fell shot to get to #11 on the all-time all-shows list.
  • The next is fellow season ultrachamp Amodio, who won $1,519,601 -- so Amy is $266,401 away from the top ten.
From Andy Saunders:
  • Her Coryat Score (raw question values) was $37,400 -- top ten all-time in the metric.
  • The $71,400 is 25th all-time -- 20 of them by James Holzhauer (who has congratulated Schneider on being one of the three eligible regular-season millionaires on the show).
  • Projected streak is now just past 46...
However, I have a little thought on that last part...

A friend of mine and I who both watch the show, especially when we get long championship runs like this, came to a theory a couple days ago.

With Schneider being out transgender, does one not think that there wouldn't be a Washington Examiner, Breitbart, or some other right-wing rag not only spoiling the loss, but celebrating it???  ....

UNLESS IT HASN"T OCCURRED YET...

Some people are going to think this is weauxfing, but I do think the fact that no right-wing pissants have been dancing on the grave of this championship run indicates there's a good chance that run has not ended yet -- even to current tapings, probably about eight weeks in advance!!

Stay tuned!

Other news:
  • The MLBPA will make a counteroffer Monday -- I expect that to go about as well as a fart in church.
  • Dak Prescott HAS been fined for his comments, according to reports.
  • Tampa Bay Rays ownership is "deflated" after MLB and Manfred officially nixed having some "home" Rays games in Montreal over the summer.
