Final 2021-22 NFL Kayfabe Regular Season

Good night...

Well, it looked for all the world the NFL was actually going to play INTO the tie, but with nothing like a kneelfest on it's hands.  Manufactured their way into overtime, then trading field goals, and then the Raiders, after bad calls both ways, get the field goal at the gun to win and in, fuck you Spanos, and the Steelers go in with them.

So, the final kayfabe regular season standings:

AFC:

Eliminated:  Chargers, Broncos, Jaguars, Texans, Dolphins, Jets, Ravens, Browns, Colts

AFC East Champion:  Buffalo Bills

AFC North Champion:  Cincinnati Bengals

AFC South Champion:  Tennessee Titans

AFC West Champion:  Kansas City Chiefs

Wildcards:  New England Patriots, Las Vegas Raiders, Pittsburgh Steelers
  1. Tennessee (12-5 and the 27-3 win over the Chiefs gets them the bye.)
  2. Kansas City (12-5, loses HTH with Tennessee to have to play the Steelers next week)
  3. Buffalo Bills (11-6)
  4. Cincinnati Bengals (10-7)
  5. Las Vegas Raiders (10-7, common games tiebreaker over NE:  LAC 1-1, MIA 1-0, CLE 1-0, DAL 1-0 = 4-1)
  6. New England Patriots (10-7, loses common games tiebreaker to LV:  LAC 1-0, MIA 0-2, CLE 1-0, DAL 0-1 = 2-3)
  7. Pittsburgh Steelers (9-7-1)
Saturday, 1:30 Pacific:  Raiders at Bengals
Saturday after that game:  Patriots at Bills
Sunday third game:  Steelers at Chiefs

NFC:

Eliminated:  Washington, Giants, Bears, Lions, Vikings, Panthers, Falcons, Saints, Seahawks

NFC East Champion:  Dallas Cowboys

NFC North Champion:  Green Bay Packers

NFC South Champion:  Tampa Bay Buccaneers

  1. Green Bay (13-4, wins conference tiebreaker over Tampa Bay 9-3 vs. 8-4))
  2. Tampa Bay (13-4, loses conference tiebreaker to Green Bay)
  3. Dallas (12-5, wins conference tiebreaker over LA Rams, 10-2 vs. 8-4)
  4. LA Rams (12-5, loses conference tiebreaker to Dallas)

  7. Philadelphia (9-8, eliminating the Saints from the playoffs with a 40-29 win over them)
Sunday 10 AM Pacific:  Philadelphia at Tampa Bay
