- After a Friday, Saturday, and early Sunday which made it look like the average was going to be another 50+ PPG week, the rest of the week stalled out, and the average was 47.625 points per game.
- For a season average of 49.392 PPG.
- With 11,854 points, the NFL is now only 108 points away from the all-time scoring record of 11,962 points for the year...
- And only 229 points from the all-time average per-game record of 47.2 - set when the NFL only had 10 teams!
- Home teams were 9-7 this week, meaning home teams are only one game over .500 (120-119-1) with just one week left.
- The Over was 7-8-1 for the week, 116-118-6 for the year.
