AFC:
Kansas City has clinched the #1 seed this week. Nothing more to do. And I'd have to think they are a significant favorite to sweep through the Super Bowl, even with the hiccup today with Atlanta.
Tomorrow night will say a lot about the 2 and 3, as Buffalo can retake the 2 with a win. Pittsburgh clinched the AFC North today.
The only division not clinched is the AFC South. A Tennessee win either week clinches the division. Indy needs a win and two Tennessee losses.
The wildcards are now 4 for 3 spots. Cleveland, Miami, Baltimore, and the second team out of the AFC South. Baltimore now has tiebreaker over Cleveland at 10-5 with a head-to-head sweep.
None of the 5 teams for the 4 spots have clinched a thing, though. All the teams are 10-5, pending tonight if Green Bay beats Tennessee.
Elimination scenarios basically are that the one team loses and all the other teams win. At this point, it's Miami (conference record), Baltimore (head to head over both Indy and Cleveland), Cleveland (head to head over Indy, in that order.
NFC:
Green Bay just kicked off on the Sunday nighter. They have head-to-head over New Orleans and conference record over Seattle no matter what happens tonight, so a win next week gets the #1 regardless. Nothing can change that -- even with a win tonight, a loss to Chicago and a Seattle win changes the order.
Seattle clinched the NFC West, New Orleans the NFC South.
7-9 is the best which can win the NFC Least now, and the Eagles are eliminated. Washington loses to Philly, Dallas loses to the Giants, and 6-10 wins that division. Washington wins the division unless they lose and Dallas wins, Washington has the HTH sweep.
Three playoff spots will go to Week 17. The NFC Least, and three for two in the NFC wildcards. Rams 9-6, Cards and Bears 8-7. Win by the Cards and Bears and loss by the Rams eliminates them.
Power Rankings:
AFC, it's Kansas City and everybody else. Less and less likely that anything short of rigging the Super Bowl or a Mahomes injury will have KC not winning it, and at least two touchdowns clear.
NFC:
1) Tampa
Again, GB with the #1 seed is Tampa by proxy. You saw again this week how good they CAN BE.
2) Seattle
3) New Orleans
4) Green Bay
