Fine and Suspension Blotter: These leagues never learn

  • NBA:  Dallas Mavericks:  Another $500,000 for Mark Cuban.  Same reason as all the others.
At some point, Cuban's gotta sell the Mavs.

Another confrontation with the refs, another protest to the league on deaf ears.

At some point, the league just has to say "No more."  It's not like Cuban isn't going to rip that check out and probably put a profanity or two on it for Adam Silver.

According to reports, that pushes his officiating-based fines to over $3,000,000.
  • Ligue 1 (Not sure if this was a FIFA penalty):  Gelson Martins was banned six months from all of soccer for shoving a referee twice.
At what point are people going to get it?

Forfeiture, and either a life ban or the bidding starts, AT MINIMUM, at a year.

It will cost him any involvement for Portugal in the Euro 2020 (should it be held), and the rest of the current domestic season.
