- The NHL is continuing to monitor the situation, but the season will continue for now.
- But San Jose and St. Louis will go fanless until at least the end of March for their home games, according to SiriusXM.
- Non-hockey, but it applies: Play at the WAC championships for basketball has been halted after a "medical event" postponed the game between California State-Bakersfield and Grand Canyon. (Brian Bennett of The Athletic)
- Possibility of exposure at the Big Ten tournament, as men's coach Fred Holberg took ill suddenly during the game today.
- Nashville has closed all schools for the last two days before their spring break.
- The Chicago Mercantile Exchange may close it's in-person trading floor.
- The Dow Futures are again approaching lock limit down.
- Back to hockey: USA Hockey has cancelled all of the national championships under it's purview for late March, and it's Disabled Hockey Festival for that and early April.
- The state of Oregon has banned all gatherings above 250 people for 4 weeks.
