The LAST THING college sports needed right now...

Tulane's Teshaun Hightower is in jail this morning, facing murder charges as one of six men involved in a murder in Stockbridge, GA earlier this month.

His attorney claims not only that Teshaun did not fire the gun (his brother did), but that it was in self-defense, according to Mark Schlabach of ESPN.

Hightower decided to enter the NBA Draft this year (at least testing the waters), but he was not projected to be taken by many drafts.  He was, however, Tulane's leading scorer.
